Worth knowing
Originally released as a special edition, this great cigar went into production in 2008. The format designation „Gordito“ („Fatty“) is somewhat misleading, as it is by no means thicker, but quite a bit longer than a normal Robusto. Smoking time approx. 70 – 85 minutes.
Flavours
This „Epi“ is the ideal „compromise cigar“ of the series in terms of flavour. Located between No.1 and No.2 in terms of both aroma and (moderate) strength, it combines the typical HdM blend of cappuccino and light nuts with a subtle cedar note and the satisfying flavour of white bread or cereals. Floral hay scent makes you think of a summer meadow, and the very good Habano becomes only slightly stronger in the course of smoking, but a little toastier and fuller-bodied. A prime example of the virtues of relatively light and mild Cuban tobacco!

Hoyo De Monterrey
José Gener, ein spanischer Einwanderer aus Tarragona, hatte 1860 den richtigen Riecher! Er war einer derjenigen, die die einzigartige Qualität der Tabakblätter um den kleinen Ort San Luis y Martínez in der privilegierten Vegetation des heute herkunftgeschützten Anbaugebiets Vuelta Abajo erkannten. Die Einlage- und Umlageblätter hatten es ihm angetan für seine Marke Hoyo de Monterrey, benannt nach der Senke, auf der sich die Plantagen bis an die Ufer des Flusses San Juan y Martínez erstrecken – der Senke von Monterrey. Der Pionier Gener nannte nicht nur die ganze Plantage Hoyo de Monterrey, sondern ab 1865 auch seine beste Habanomarke, die bis heute existiert. Die Plantage mit den Verwaltungsgebäuden und der Manufaktur ist mitten im Tabakort San Luis y Martínez angesiedelt – sie ist eine der wenigen Vegas de Primera, wo nur die besten Blätter wachsen, die zum Teil auch für die Cohibas verwendet werden. Die Einfahrt auf die Plantage schmückt ein imposantes Tor mit der Inschrift „Hoyo de Monterrey. José Gener. 1860“. Vor allem bei Liebhabern von Habanos, die einen leichten Geschmack bevorzugen und gleichzeitig hohe Ansprüche an Aroma und Komplexität stellen, hat sie sich weltweit einen Namen gemacht. Mit ihrer feinen Mischung ist sie gleichermaßen beliebt bei anspruchsvollen Beginnern.

What you need to know
The lighter breather from Cigar Prop is manufactured in the USA and was designed by a Mr Kevin D. Shahan. The tip is made of brass and the housing is made of high-quality aluminium. A solid tool to put enough pressure on the valve without damaging it. The vent ensures that the excess pressure can escape and thus the nozzles of the jet flame lighter can function properly again. There are two exit holes so that the gas can easily escape from the tank.
Application
1. hold the lighter vertically downwards so that you can press into the valve from above
2. position the air vent so that the escape holes point away from you to the left and right
3. press on the valve with the breather, release - repeat until you no longer hear any hissing
4. When the lighter is empty, simply refill it with the corresponding gas
