The youngest child in the “Churchill” blend series comes across much milder and softer than its “mother”, but is still somewhat more intense and concentrated than the “Wide Churchill”. This handy little cigar is not the strongest in the series, as you might think from its narrow ring gauge, but rather the lightest and mildest. Many aficionados will appreciate that the „golden line“, reminiscent of RyJ.s of the last century, bucks the trend towards ever lighter Habanos. Jagdgöttin Diana has quite nice upper arms – but above all an enchanting aroma! Charming aromas of fresh bread crust and nuts are surrounded by more fragrant, floral and discreetly fruity notes. The sweet smoke gains a tart malty cocoa undertone; the smoke is deliciously „umami“ and in perfect balance. The typical Romeo leatheriness emerges with beautiful clarity. A great consensus format for friends of the more leathery-roasty-tart as well as the more nutty-floral-sweet side of RyJ! It quickly becomes clear that this exquisite rarity is by no means just a "pumped-up" noble version of the Belicoso. The tobaccos used testify to their hand-picked quality, puff by puff; the overall taste experience seems like a bundled "best-of" of the famous traditional brand. Solid cedar notes, embedded in a ravishing nuttiness reminiscent of Upmann, the fresh sweetness of the best meadow honey, a subtle hint of leather hovering over everything, sometimes also hints of berry fruits flatter the palate. For this Habano, that would also fit – its massive, intense flavour profile with tremendous smoke development shows a completely different face of the brand than, for example, the Wide Churchill. Die Cedros De Luxe-Reihe von Romeo y Julieta umfasst drei Zigarren, die jeweils einzeln in ein dünnes Stück Zedernholz eingewickelt sind. Dies schützt zum einen das Deckblatt, zum anderen verleiht es den Zigarren einen unvergleichlichen Duft und ein entsprechendes Aroma. Vor dem Anzünden der Zigarre wird dieses selbstverständlich entfernt. Die Cedros de Luxe No.1 ist eine klassische Cervantes, mit einer Länge von 16,5 cm, einem Durchmesser von 1,67 cm und 42er Ringmaß. Hier beeinflusst das Zedernblatt wegen der geringen Größe der Zigarre die Aromatik am stärksten. Nevertheless, they spoil the smoker with an exemplary cross-section of typical brand flavours: a fine cedar aroma, mildly nutty roasted tones, floral-fruity notes (especially in the first half), including the typical Habanos transition to earthy, leathery, beautifully spicy facets in the course of the smoke. Despite the narrow diameter, which some consider ‘tricky’, the mini puro draws and burns perfectly. The flavour is as attractive as the loving packaging.

God only knows how many aficionados started their “cigar career” with this Vítola! Truly an ideal entry-level habano of moderate strength with the usual Mareva smoking time (approx. 40 - 55 minutes).

As with the Partagás of the same name, you can actually taste the “thousand flowers”! The cigar is characterized by fine floral and sweet fruity aromas rather than the typical RyJ nut/leather notes with their roasted, pithy touch. In the course of the middle third, the emphasis shifts somewhat in the latter direction - as with many Habanos - without the balance being lost. For good reasons, hardly any other product stands for “the” characteristic taste of a Habano.
