This short, short-filler Robusto with a smoking time of approx. 40 - 55 minutes has been a favorite of many price-conscious aficionados since its market launch in 2012. An amazingly elegant smoke for any occasion, which definitely gains from ageing!
Flavours
It is surprising how much variety and complexity this inexpensive cigar offers! Initially, the focus is on rather sweet and playful aromas - fresh hay, floral facets, a hint of honey sweetness - but as the smoke progresses, increasingly creamy, “muted” tones such as coffee, bread (crust) or even dark beer take center stage. Both aspects complement each other in the middle section before the dark notes predominate in the final third. The smooth, medium-bodied, perfectly drawn leaf roll is suitable for any time of day or year, for beginners and experienced smokers alike.

Quintero ist eine der wenigen Marken, die nicht in Kubas Hauptstadt Havanna entstanden sind. Ihr Erfinder, Don Agustín Quintero, errichtete die Manufaktur im Jahre 1924 mit seinen vier Brüdern in Cienfuegos, einer Stadt an der Südküste Kubas, bekannt als Perle des Südens.
