When the powerful, iconic “Coronas Extra” were discontinued in 2012, many Bol’var fans were saddened – and skeptical when the following year this powerful, LCDH-exclusive “Fat Lady” was presented, whose large ring size; more in line with contemporary trends. Since then, the powerful, very persuasive “Liberator” - an honorific nickname Simón Bolívars – but has blossomed into a coveted figurehead of the brand.
Aroma
The sumptuous Sublime is the most opulent and creamy bolívar. The taste is similar to the „BBF” more than the thinner formats; Similar to these, it has an exciting and intense interplay of fruity, sweet, spicy and umami notes. The typical ethereal woodiness can also be felt, while its sweetness sometimes has something of caramel or roasted almonds. With all the power, a gorgeous, aromatically playful cigar that tastes great even when young. The firmness of the curl differs a little -; so does the smoking time of approx. 85 to 110 minutes.

Fat Lady mit Muskeln
Die kultigen Lang-Coronas der Marke wurden längst abgeschafft (schade!), dafür dieses Ofenrohr eingeführt. Viele alte Fans waren skeptisch. Der Blend schmeckt aber super, typisch Bolí, mit Zitrus-Aromen, Holz, Nuss, Honig. Ganz schön stark & zieht prima, die Festigkeit der Rollung (teils recht locker) & der Nikotingehalt schwanken aber von Charge zu Charge. Der Geschmack ist immer toll.

Der aus Venezuela stammende Unabhängigkeitskämpfer Simón Bolívar war eine der großen historischen Gestalten des 19. Jahrhunderts. Er befreite weite Teile Südamerikas von der spanischen Kolonialherrschaft. Die nach ihm benannte Marke Bolívar wurde 1902 ins Leben gerufen und wird heute in der Manufaktur von Partagás im Herzen Havannas gefertigt. Es ist kaum verwunderlich, dass eine Habano, die den Namen einer so beeindruckenden Persönlichkeit trägt, auch so gemischt ist, dass sich dies im Geschmack ausdrückt. Bolívar gehört zu den stärksten und aromatischsten aller Habanos.
