„The little fat guy with the super punch“ is the name of an old martial arts film. For this Habano, that would also fit – its massive, intense flavour profile with tremendous smoke development shows a completely different face of the brand than, for example, the Wide Churchill. In a dense texture, a concentrated wood, leather and nut aroma pleases the palate, which gains in intensity with almost every puff, but also leaves room for the brand-typical, slightly floral flavour of red fruits. Sie ist eine der ältesten Marken unter den Spitzen-Habanos, die Manufaktur existiert seit 1875. Die Marke wurde während des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts unter der Führung von Don „Pepin“ Rodríguez weltberühmt, einem talentierten Geschäftsmann, der als einer der ersten die Macht der Zigarrenringe erkannte. Während seiner Glanzzeit wurden nicht weniger als 20.000 verschiedene Zigarrenringe für die Produktion verwendet.
