Flavours
The dwarf flavours are among the lighter and milder Romeos and are therefore beginner-friendly. Nevertheless, they spoil the smoker with an exemplary cross-section of typical brand flavours: a fine cedar aroma, mildly nutty roasted tones, floral-fruity notes (especially in the first half), including the typical Habanos transition to earthy, leathery, beautifully spicy facets in the course of the smoke. Despite the narrow diameter, which some consider ‘tricky’, the mini puro draws and burns perfectly. The flavour is as attractive as the loving packaging.

Ob Winston Churchill ein großer Liebhaber der Dramen seines Landsmanns William Shakespeare war? Shakespeares berühmtes Liebespaar Romeo und Julia stand jedenfalls Pate bei der spanischsprachigen Namensgebung für die Marke Romeo y Julieta. Sie ist eine der ältesten Marken unter den Spitzen-Habanos, die Manufaktur existiert seit 1875. Die Marke wurde während des frühen 20. Jahrhunderts unter der Führung von Don „Pepin“ Rodríguez weltberühmt, einem talentierten Geschäftsmann, der als einer der ersten die Macht der Zigarrenringe erkannte. Während seiner Glanzzeit wurden nicht weniger als 20.000 verschiedene Zigarrenringe für die Produktion verwendet.
