Carolina leaves dried in hot air perfectly preserve their fermantation sugar, "Old-Belt Virginia" is reminiscent of walnut as well as liquorice and also has noble woody tones. They marry with the smoky gout of the fire-dried, strong Kentucky, while long-matured Black Cavendish generates a wonderful dried fruit flavor. The fifth member of the group, a rare guest at Vauen, is the famous Syrian spice tobacco Latakia, which, when used with due care, offers resinous tones and piquant spice. An ingenious blend!
