Worth knowing
Until about 10 years ago, this charming small cigar was also available without a tubo. Since then, it has formed a series with two other short Coronas that are only available in aluminium. Even before the revolution, it was part of the brand's portfolio. Amazingly, it burns for up to 40 minutes!
Flavours
A very classic HU cigar. The characteristic woody aromas here seem somewhat darker and heartier than in some other representatives of the brand, an effect that can also be observed in small Coronas from RyJ. Nevertheless, it seems pleasantly mild and gentle, not as concentratedly spicy as many other particularly dark Habanos. A nice hint of cocoa and the classic, creamy nutty flavours complete the harmonious taste picture. An underrated cigar that is more suitable for concentrated enjoyment than for a quick smoke on the side.

H. Upmann
Hermann Upmann war ein Bankier aus Deutschland, der kubanische Zigarren so sehr liebte, dass er 1844 nach Havanna umsiedelte, wo er fortan als Bankier und Zigarrenhersteller tätig war. Seine Bank musste kurz nach 1920 geschlossen werden, aber seine Zigarren leben als exzellentes Beispiel für eine Habano von leichtem bis mittelkräftigem Geschmack weiter. Garant für den Erfolg Upmanns war sein Bestreben, ausschließlich erstklassige Qualität zu liefern. Die H.Upmann -Habanos waren bekannt für ihre Verpackung in edlen Kisten aus dem Holz spanischer Zedern zusammen mit einer Garantieerklärung und der Unterschrift Hermann Upmanns – die Produktion fand und findet in Havanna statt.

The Montecristo brand is one of the young cigar brands from Cuba. For aficionados of this young Cuban cigar brand, there are of course also suitable solutions. The Montecristo 3 cigar case safely preserves all the flavours of the cigars. The logo is embedded in a metal plaque on the brown upper part of the case, which can be easily removed from the brown lower part. You can store 3 cigars with a length of up to 17 cm and a diameter of up to 2.2 cm in the folded case - when pulled out, cigars with a length of up to 22 cm even fit inside.
The term Boveda comes from the Spanish and means vaulted cellar. It is a proprietary humidity control product that has been specially developed for use in cigar cases, countertop and travel humidors. Each Humipak contains a saturated salt and water solution protected by a bi-directional permeable membrane. The Boveda Humipaks offer the user the advantage that he no longer has to remember to top up the humidor's water reservoir, as he simply replaces the corresponding number of Boveda Paks in the humidor every 2 - 3 months. The Humipaks are designed to release treated moisture into the humidor, thus minimising the risk of bacteria, mould or fungi developing in the humidor. They also have the advantage over other humidification systems that they minimise fluctuations in the moisture balance, allowing cigars to mature perfectly. The constant moisture balance preserves the natural oils and sugar components of the cigars, giving them the opportunity to improve with age.
